Lori Barbour Appointed as New Administrative Director

Low Moor, VA, January, 2012 – LewisGale Hospital Alleghany is pleased to announce the appointment of Lori Barbour to Administrative Director. Lori has served as the interim Administrative Director since October of 2011, and assumed her permanent position this month. She will have supervisory responsibility for radiology, lab, and medical office buildings along with other duties.
“I am honored to accept this position,” said Lori. “I am committed to helping our hospital continue to offer the community high-quality care that’s patient centered.”
In her 19 years with LewisGale Hospital Alleghany, Lori has served in several key roles including Physician Recruiter, Medical Staff coordinator and most recently as the Ethics and Compliance Officer.
